Tea cups, top hats and dinosaurs. A wonderful couple with an incredibly cool style. There’s only one way to describe this wedding: epic. Emily and John traveled from Manhattan to host their summer wedding in New York’s beautiful Hudson Valley. Emily, John and their wedding party were adorned in flowers from head to toe, including floral dresses, an amazing floral suit and floral crowns. John looked dashing in a top hat accented by their signature flowers while Emily was stunning in her floral jewelry. Emily walked down the aisle to a lovely rendition of Stand By Me, performed live by the Silver Arrow Band, and Emily and John exchanged vows beneath a beautiful tree in the gardens. After guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and cocktails (we loved their signature drink: Cold Earl Grey, lavender honey, and gin with a lavender garnish), they entered the Atrium for introductions. To the guests’ surprise, the Jurassic Park theme began to play as inflatable T-rex’s got down on the dance floor! Each table was decorated with Tea Cup centerpieces, perfectly complimenting their floral theme while adding hints of “Alice in Wonderland”. After dinner and a lot of dancing, Emily and John cut the most beautiful floral cake from The Pastry Garden. This wedding was a mix of classic elegance, eclectic whimsy and couldn’t have been more fun. We wish Emily and John a wonderful, magical life together. Enjoy the photos, there’s no doubt you’ll be inspired!
